Rosewood Reverie is an original acrylic floral painting on canvas: rose, blush, and cream peonies with butter-yellow centers, drifting across a deep brown ground. Some blooms are wide open, others still curling in, and slender olive leaves trail between them as if a breeze just passed through.
Nothing is posed. To me it looks like a moment caught mid-breath, and it reminds me of how we picture the good old days: a little blurred at the edges, glowing against the dark, and full of life.
